Bokushi offers a program for US war veterans looking for their “purpose” and the way forward. Now the government is concerned about the rapid rise of these well-armed, highly trained and eternally devoted Shinja in the cult-like “program.” Most (80%) of the film, with a budget of 38 million euros, is being shot in Thessaloniki, the rest in Drama. Shooting will last until July 25.
